From the comfort of one of Australia’s largest glass bottom boats, your local Butchulla guide provides cultural insights including significant landmarks and Butchulla names. Come face to face with fish, turtles, the coral reef, dolphins, reef sharks and dugongs as you snorkel the calm waters.
Join this leisurely guided ecotour through the calm, clear waters of the Great Sandy Marine Park. You will be able to view the coral gardens from the comfort of the Milbi, one of Australia’s largest glass bottom boats.
This tour offers snorkelling equipment to enable you the ultimate experience of coming face to face with the infinite wonders of the marine park. You are likely to see fish habitat amongst the coral reef, turtles, dolphins, sea bird colonies, and possibly a reef shark or dugong. Absorb the Aboriginal culture of the local Butchulla people of the region and discover the Butchulla names and meanings of significant local landmarks.
Time is set aside to explore Weenandin (Round Island) and enjoy a healthy lunch. Conditions permitting, we may also pay a visit to the spectacular Pelican Banks famous for its crystal clear waters. Perfect for swimming, or just relaxing on the white, sandy shores.
