Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road stretches 243-kilometre along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. A spectacular coast drive through awe inspiring landscapes the Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed area. One of the highlights of the Great Ocean Road is The Twelve Apostles, although only eight remain! Found in Port Campbell National Park, the massive limestone structures tower 45 metres above the stormy Southern Ocean, and are truly stunning in their scale and beauty.

Other attractions along the road include Bells Beach internationally regarded as one of Australia’s best surf beaches, Port Campbell National Park full of historic sites, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, The Arch and the Grotto. The Road is also a foodies delight with an artisanal food trail featuring: cheese makers, single malt whisky tastings and gourmet ice cream, chocolate, fudge, beer, olives and strawberry producers.

The Great Ocean Road also offers a variety of Aboriginal experiences. You can visit ancient rock art sites, take Aboriginal guide tours of the many national parks along the route and visit Aboriginal art galleries in the coastal towns along the way.
