As you embark on this interactive tour led by a First Nations guide, be exposed to the stunning gardens and the abundance of native plants growing on Kaurna Yerta. What to expect

Your Aboriginal guide will lead you through this 60-minute walking tour through the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. You will get the opportunity to take an in-depth look at the local native plants, touching, smelling, and learning about the significance of the plants and fungi in Kaurna culture. Our experienced tour guides will offer to answer any of your questions while they walk with you through a range of stops.

What is included

This 1 hour experience runs from Monday to Friday starting at 9am it runs on the hour from 9am to 4pm.

Minimum number of 2 guests applies to this experience.

This experience will operate for groups of 2 - 30 persons. Minimums and availability apply. If minimum numbers are not met, experience may take place pending a minimum payment.

Southern Cultural Immersion

Southern Cultural Immersion (SCI) was started by Kaurna man, Corey Turner in 2019. SCI strive to promote and nurture reconciliation and cultural respect towards First Nations people.

Southern Cultural Immersion manages operations of the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre located at the sprawling and culturally significant grounds of Warriparinga. Conveniently situated within 12km of Adelaide CBD and offers cultural experiences and workshops, an art gallery, retail store, venue hire and  coach parking in the sprawling and culturally significant grounds.

The Living Kaurna Cultural Centre is a major location for First Nations celebrations in South Australia, including music performances and markets. Cultural training, community engagement, art and cultural workshops and cultural tours are also on offer including some incredible experiences in and around the CBD of Adelaide.
