Join us for a 3 day cultural immersion in Kakadu National Park, on Murrumburr Clan Country at Kakadu Billabong Safari Camp in our self contained cabins. You will share in the rich cultural knowledge of the local Bininj/Mungguy people, providing you with an authentic connection to local ways of life.

This package includes 2 nights accommodation, a traditional Welcome to Country Ceremony, cultural education sessions, men and women's cultural activities, a seasonal Bush Tucker tasting experience and Rock Art tour at Nourlangie (Burrungkuy) Rock Art Site.

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive at Patonga Homestead to check in between 2pm - 4pm
  • Experience a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony before settling into camp for the night

Day 2

  • Morning Cultural Walk and Talk around Patonga Homestead and the Billabong with a Senior Guide
  • 3 Hour Men and Women's Cultural Activities - Craft your own souvenir to take home
  • Seasonal Bush Tucker Tasting Experience
  • Afternoon free time - Continue working on your craft - Take a 1:15pm Yellow Water Cruise - Relax around camp and soak up the warm weather in a cool shady spot.

Day 3

  • Check out of Camp before making your way to the Warradjan Cultural Centre to join a guided tour, led by your guides from KBSC.
  • Make your way to Nourlangie (Burrungkuy) and join our 1.5 hour Journey Through Time Sacred Rock Art Tour.
