Our First Artist experiences are co-designed by QAGOMA and 100% Indigenous-owned business Blaklash Creative and are part of the Cultural Attractions of Australia.
Blaklash Creative is a design consultancy specialising in First Nations art and design. Working in partnership with artists, designers and creatives, Blaklash produces community-celebrated experiences that express Indigenous perspectives through artistic process, practice and presentation.
QAGOMA is located riverside in Brisbane across two architecturally acclaimed buildings in the Queensland Cultural Centre, and is a short walk from the city and adjacent to South Bank. Glimpses of Brisbane anchor you to our subtropical city from inside each gallery.
