Join Dharawal woman, Jaz Corr, for a three day Wayapa Wuurrk Immersion. Over this multi day experience, enjoy six Wayapa Wuurrk studio sessions in daily morning and evening rituals. The experience comes complete with an Immersion Kit including Sun and Moon face oils by Ayurvedic Herbalist Felicia Robey from Connection, Mind, Body, Soul & Earth. Theses are paired with an Indigenous handmade earth clay ceremony cup commissioned by Waymbul Studios. Each item is used in conjunction with elements of the immersion.

What to expect

Wayapa® Wuurrk is an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit Well-being.

Over three days, we share six Wayapa Wuurrk studio sessions with the flexibility for participants to join online.

Daily morning and evening rituals are accompanied with an Summer Wayapa Wuurrk Immersion Kit. The collection consists of handmade organically crafted Sun and Moon face oils. Created specifically for the Summer Immersion by Ayurvedic Herbalist Felicia Robey from Connection, Mind, Body, Soul, Earth. Paired with an Indigenous handmade earth clay ceremony cup commissioned specifically for the Summer Immersion by Waymbul Studios. Each item is used in conjunction with immersion.

Sun and Moon Oils are a collaboration with Dharawal Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner Jaz Corr and AyurvedIc Herbalist Felicia Robey. Each oil is organically handcrafted using the finest Australian botanicals and herbs. Created in harmony with the moon cycles and nature. Limited to seasonal small batches for sustainability and conservation of resources.

Day 1: The Creator

  • 6:45 AM Participants receive the Immersion Kit.
  • 7: 00 AM Wayapa Wuurrk guided Creator facial with Sun Oil.
  • 7:15 AM Harnessing the Creator within and taking action to help Mother Earth.
  • 6:00 PM Wayapa Wuurrk Acknowledgment Practice
  • 6.30 PM Wayapa Wuurrk guided facial with Moon Oil.
  • 6.45 PM Close with reflection and ceremony tea.

Day 2 : The Sun
Wayapa® provides a sense of belonging to the Earth while creating holistic well-being.

  • 6:45 PM Close with reflection and ceremony tea.

Held over 3 consecutive days at Emergence Yoga Kiama Studio 6th to 8th January 2023.

Jasmine Corr

Visual Artist, Visual Arts Teacher and Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner.

Jaz Corr is an Aboriginal Visual Artist that resides on the South Coast of NSW, Australia. A graduate of Curtin University Western Australia (Boodja) as an Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (Double Major Fine Art and Visual Culture) and a postgraduate Master of Education (Visual Arts) from the University of Wollongong.

As a proud Dharawal women her curiosity of the world has inspired a varied amount of artwork that reflects a critical view of social, political, cultural and environmental issues. Jaz’s art practice demonstrates effective visual communication appropriate to both studio practice and art critical discourse.

As an accredited Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner since 2019, Jaz has experience in delivering Wayapa Wuurrk as Educational Programs, Staff Development Programs, University Programs, NAIDOC Programs, Reconciliation Week Programs, Studio Practice, Online Practice, Private Practice for Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal participants.
