During this immersive online experience, you will explore Wiradjuri traditions, culture and language in an exclusive and intimate virtual tour.

On the online tour you will listen, learn and interact with Mark as he discusses different aspects of the Wiradjuri people and culture. The Wiradjuri have over 60,000 years cultural knowledge and caring for country. Mark will share with you the Wiradjuri language , culture and country. You will see how Wiradjuri tools are made and watch Mark create traditional artwork right in front of you! You will then be invited to create an artwork yourself with the expert help of Mark.

Mark will also ensure that you have time to discuss and ask questions about Wiradjuri country, culture and language in this interactive live virtual tour.

In this virtual experience you will:

  • Learn about a living culture that is over 60,000 years old.
  • Learn about native animals, plants and bush tucker.
  • Interactive live with experienced Wiradjuri tour guide and Artists Mark Saddler.
  • If time permits Mark may also show you some of his “Yidaki” (Didgeridoo) that he makes. Perhaps you may like to see and hear how music and songs are transmitted through these amazing cultural items as well.

Things to know

This virtual, online experience will last approximately 60 minutes.

The cost is $58AUD per person per session. Each session has a Minimum of 6 and a Maximum of 10 people per session, this size group makes the session more personal.

*Please note, if the minimum group numbers is not met we will cancel the session and you will receive a full refund.

If for any reason the connection to session is interrupted the session will pick back up from where it was stopped.

What you need to have to come on this tour

  • An attitude that is respectful and ready to learn and have fun.
  • Good internet access.
  • Web Camera and microphone.
  • Paper, pens, crayons, pencils (this is so you can also do artwork with Mark)
