Join an experienced Yura guide for a fascinating Aboriginal cultural experience in the heart of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. This is an entertaining and informative walk to Sacred Canyon, a significant site to the Adnyamathanha people, home to an abundance of ancient rock engravings in the smooth sandstone walls.

Walk along a dry river bed to an Aboriginal engraving site where your Yura guide will explain how these engravings were made and what they signify. Learn about the engravings, landscape and culture as interpreted by a Traditional Owner.

Join an Adnyamathanha Aboriginal guide for an informative walk into Sacred Canyon in the Ikara-Finders Ranges National Park. Learn about cultural significance of the site and the ancient rock engravings from the perspective of the Adnyamathanha people. Only appropriate Adnyamathanha community members can share Adnyamathanha stories, and Sacred Canyon is only accessible on an Adnyamathanha guided tour.

Delve deep into the local Aboriginal culture during this captivating and informative walk to Sacred Canyon in the Flinders Ranges. Led by a Yura guide, you will follow a dry river bed lined by red gums to an ancient engraving site to learn about the etching's origins and significance. The trail is a moderately easy walk and follows the gum-lined creek.
