YOUR EXPERIENCE PROVIDER

Tweed Eco Cruises

Tweed Eco Cruises (TEC) is privileged to have its roots deeply embedded in a region the rest of our nation refers to as Australia’s holiday playground.

TEC, a second-generation family owned and operated business is fully staffed by proud long-term Tweed and southern Gold Coast residents who are committed to promoting the region known as The Northern Rivers.

The NSW Northern Rivers holds a significant natural beauty and the Tweed in which run our cruises boasts long stretches of untouched pristine beaches, world-class surf and reef breaks, natural turtle habitats and whale watch from the crowning headlands of Fingal and Cabarita.

The Tweed Valley is a natural amphitheatre recognised alongside the Daintree and Kakadu as being one of the three most bio-diverse regions in Australia. Formed millions of years ago by a large shield volcano, the crowning glory of the region is Wollumbin Mt Warning. Dominating the landscape, it’s the first place to see the sun on the east coast of Australia. The Tweed River, a 78km waterway on which we cruise, runs through the heart of this ancient landscape.

Ecotourism is central to our philosophies and practices at TEC, our mission is to be a benchmark for other tourism businesses operating in the Tweed region. We aim to inspire and assist other local businesses within our region to protect and promote our pristine natural environment, the Tweed through the provision of unique and educational activities with a minimal environmental footprint and sustainable operations.
