Insights into your experience

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable experience on Aboriginal land and guided by local Aboriginal people just 50 kilometres from Darwin.

Learn about culture, land and local bush food and bush medicine while making a bush bracelet. Includes Darwin transfers and a day trip to Litchfield National Park.

Day 1

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Darwin at 2:00pm and driven to Pudakul. On arrival at Pudakul check-in to your self-contained accommodation.

Enjoy an Aboriginal Art session learning the different art painting styles. You will create your own painting on canvas guided by one of our friendly staff.

Up next, at 4:30pm you will enjoy a 2 Hour Aboriginal cultural experience. During this experience you will learn about the different local plant usages, have a go at throwing a spear and more.

After the 2 Hour tour, dinner will be served on the deck overlooking the billabong while watching the evening sunset.

After dinner, retreat to your self-contained unit in air-conditioned comfort.

Day 2

Enjoy a day trip to Litchfield National Park. Start with a continental breakfast and then hit the road at 8:00am. Firstly you will explore the lower part of the Park visiting Wangi Falls. Here you can have an early morning swim or just take in the views of the cascading water running off the rocks. There is a walking track and boardwalk platforms where we will visit to take some photos before making our way back to the top part of the Park visiting Buley Rock Hole and Florence Fall. Here you can enjoy more swimming or take the walking track from Buley to Florence while your guide prepares a picnic lunch.

After leaving the swimming sites we will then make our way to the termite mounds so you can explore them and learn a little about them.

Head back to Pudakul for dinner and a good nights rest.

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the billabong. You will then be dropped back to Darwin by 10:00am.
