Nabilil Dreaming Sunset Dinner Tour

Combine the experience of sightseeing with the unexpected luxury in the remote setting of Nitmiluk Gorge in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory.
Travel through the first 2 gorges, including a 400m walk where you will have the opportunity to view an Ancient Jawoyn Rock Art site, dated 8,000-10,000 years old. Along the way, you will be enlightened with cultural stories, history of the Nitmiluk region, information of flora and fauna and much more.

Board the dinner vessel back at the first gorge as the onboard chefs begin creating your 3-course meal. Sit back and relax as you marvel at the ever-changing colours of ochre on the escarpment walls as the sun begins to set.  Enjoy your candlelit dinner, featuring fresh, local Australian produce accompanied by a complimentary glass of sparkling wine in the stunning surrounds of the gorge.

Insights into your experience

Considered the jewel in the crown of the Nitmiluk experience, sit back and relax as the tranquil surroundings transport you into a spiritual world of the Jawoyn culture and history.

Discover the stories and ways of the Jawoyn people against the magnificent backdrop of the Nitmiluk Gorge, changing colour with the setting sun, and concluding with the shimmering of the stars and the moon. From group celebrations to intimate getaways, the cruise has its own chef and wait staff, so you won’t have to worry about moving from the comfort of your seat as all your food and beverage needs are taken care of.

The Tour includes a three course candlelit dinner, featuring fresh, local Australian produce cooked by one of our chefs on board, accompanied by a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

For our guides, a trip along the river means so much more than just a tour.

We are very fortunate to have guides who are incredibly passionate, experienced and professional, with an intimate knowledge and understanding of the Katherine River’s year cycle and wildlife. The Nitmiluk Guides will provide you with in-depth, memorable experiences and factual information to enhance your visit beyond your expectations.
