Immerse yourself in the creative experience during a jewellery making workshop with Wiradjuri mixed media artist Ange Jeffery. Offering a fun, practical and meaningful experience, Ange's workshops incorporate cultural learnings with creative practice, enabling participants to learn basic jewellery making techniques, using a natural material such as raffia to create individual pieces.

Please note a maximum of 1 ticket is available per person, they will be allocated on a first come first served basis until each workshop is fully booked.

This property unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible, as it is on level 1 of the property and the only access is via stairs. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What to expect

You'll learn traditional fibre weaving techniques and be guided to create your own piece - earrings, a bracelet or pendant. Includes coloured raffia and silver earhooks.

Participants in Ange's workshop will be guided in material selection, method and technique and personal expression, all with a cultural overlay, and can take home individually crafted pieces on completion.

These workshops are conducted in a culturally safe and respectful manner.
