This tour takes in the highlights of Kakadu before leaving the crowds behind and entering Arnhem Land. After visiting the Aboriginal community of Gunbalanya, the safari continues to the pristine Cobourg Peninsula, staying at Cobourg Coastal Camp. Itinerary

Day 1 We’ll explore Kakadu, embarking on a wetlands cruise before a hike and swim at Barramundi Gorge.

Day 2 We’ll enter Arnhem Land and a local Aboriginal guide will show us the spectacular Injalak Hill rock-art sites. We also visit Injalak Arts Centre where guests meet artists and buy traditional and contemporary arts directly from the community.

Day 3 and 4 We’ll then spend the next 3 nights at Cobourg Coastal Camp, Venture North’s private camp on the pristine Cobourg Peninsula. Here we’ll embark on a range of wilderness activities including nature walks, Victoria Settlement ruins tour, boating, birdwatching, fishing, beach combing and much more.

Meeting point

Your guide will pick you up from your Darwin Accommodation between 6:45am – 7:15am on the day of departure. Please provide your Darwin accommodation details directly to Venture North.
