Terms and Conditions for Aboriginal Tours and Education Melbourne

Liability

Although every effort is made, Aboriginal Tours and Education Melbourne shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the experience/tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all participants have travel insurance coverage. Aboriginal Tours and Education Melbourne retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, fares, inclusions, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur.

Payments

Pre-payment is required to confirm your experience booking.

Cancellation Policy

Change of date is only permitted once after original booking and must be within 4 weeks of the original booking and subject to availability. If a suitable date cannot be found, the change of date will be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation T&C’s will apply.

Cancellation fees:

  • 100% within 72 hours of booking date
  • 50% within 7 days of booking date
  • 25% within 1 month of booking date

Cancellation fees in Peak Periods:

Peak periods include: National Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC week, Indigenous Business Month and December each year. Bookings made during peak periods are subject to the following cancellation fees:

  • 100% within 7 days of booking date
  • 50% within 21 Days of booking date
  • 25% within 2 months of booking date
All bookings that require a change of date within 4 weeks of the workshop date will be charged a 10% fee of the original cost.


Damages

All guests are responsible for any damages caused to facilities or any equipment provided in conjunction with the workshop as a result of your negligence.

Aboriginal Tours and Education Melbourne accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any personal belongings during the workshop. It is your responsibility to look after your belongings.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If the workshop is unable to take place due to unforeseen circumstances such as an ‘Act of God’, State or Federal Government Health advice, Emergency such as fire, flood or severe weather, etc, the workshop will be rescheduled within 3 months of the original date in consultation with both parties.
